History
IActive is a global company specializing in the most advanced Artificial Intelligence technology in the domain of business processes. It began as a Spin-off from the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Department of the University of Granada.
IActive was founded in 2006 by some members of the Intelligent Systems Research Group TIC-175 thanks to the extraordinary market interest in the group´s R&D projects. Based on this success, IActive was founded as a global company focusing on the development and integration of Intelligent Systems based on ACM (Adaptive Case Management).
During the first years of its activity, until late 2008, the company was oriented to developing Intelligent Systems for end clients, with several successful applications of its technology for key clients in the Spanish market.
In 2009 IActive increased its focus on its Artificial Intelligence technology, with a round of financing and orienting its business model to a complete product offering for partners. The result was the IActive Intelligent Decisor® engine and the IActive Knowledge Studio® development tool, thanks to which its partners can create intelligent systems to aid decision making, without expertise in Artificial Intelligence.
Thanks to this new business model, the IActive technology, through its partners, is reaching many more clients, new markets and industries.
On 2010 IActive developed a personalized sightseeing planner for the city of Granada, which was its first commercial Project on the tourist sector. IActive also carried out different pilot projects in other sectors like emergencies, health care, sport, business continuity, etc. During this year it makes the first deals with partners for IActive´s products distribution and integration.
IActive reached the top 5 of "Venture Lab" competition at Instituto de Empresa Business School, with the participation of over 150 start-ups launched by MBA students.
IActive presented in Fitur 2011 its new solution Onmyplan, which has been launched after the success obtain by the visit tourist planner for the city of Granada.
In February of 2011, IActive completed successfully its second round of financing order to accelerate its commercial expansion. The Jeremie Investment Fund (Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises) and Caja Granada (Progranada Investments VC) took part in this funding. Besides the evolution of its products Decisor and Knowledge Studio, IActive has developed a new product: IActive Intelligent Monitor® which allows real-time tracking of the processes created by Decisor.
IActive CEO, has been selected among more than 1900 candidates by the Singularity University for its postgraduate course of Exponential Technology.
IActive products generate dynamically goal oriented context-aware processes, and real time monitoring.
